Trans South – Central – Gorontalo – North Sulawesi 16 days/15 nights

Upon arrive at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar, meet and greet with our guide then directly trip to Tana Toraja. The trip will be pass some regencies in distance of 310 km (it’s about 8 – 9 hour drive from Makassar). On the way you’ll enjoy the beautiful rice field, fish pool and the Traditional Houses of Bugisnese which is adorn on the right and left side of the main road. Lunch will be at Pare-pare, one of the regencies we passing by in the distance of 175 km from Makassar. After lunch the journey will be continue and will arrive in Tana Toraja at late noon, then check-in to hotel, Dinner at the local restaurant, free program.

Buffet breakfast at hotel, starting Toraja tour to visit Ke’te Kesu (traditional wooden carving village and hanging grave), Marante (is a village where a lot of Tongkonan House, big paddy barns and big rocky hill containing hanging stone graves which the located called “Erong”), Bori menhir stones, soared up several meters above the land and then lunch at local restaurant, after wards continue tour to visit Pallawa (The most beautiful village with buffalo horns in front off their houses) and Lokomata (the boulder grave) then visit Sa’dan To’Barana, the traditional cotton weaving village. Buffet breakfast at hotel, starting Toraja tour to visit Londa (the natural cave grave), Lemo The cliff-side stone grave with wooden effigies on the balcony, the royal family tombs at Suaya then lunch at local restaurant. Afterwards continue tour to visit Kambira (Baby grave) and Sangalla, village lying among the leafy bamboo trees and the tomb of King Sangalla. Afternoon back to the hotel, Dinner at the local restaurant, free program.

After breakfast, we leave the hotel at 5 a.m Toraja to Tentena, it will take 12 hours some stop on the way for Spectacular panorama in Puncak with valley, big forest where many butterfly. After, Palopo city continue to Masamba region and Bone - Bone until Mangkutana, this region is transmigration area where many people from Java, Bali and others are live here. Then, we can rest the gate between South Sulawesi and Center Sulawesi to see the beautiful panorama. Then, we can continue to Tentena. Finally, Arrive in Siuri cottage for overnight and dinner.

After breakfast at hotel. We can start our trip to the Saluopa Village to look the Bali village. Then, lunch while we can enjoy one of the beautiful waterfall in Sulawesi island. After that, around 05 p.m we go to look the little ghost animal is Tersier, we can only see in the evening. Finally, back to the hotel for dinner and overnight in the hotel because tomorrow we will go to Bada Valley.

Simple breakfast at hotel, leaving to Lore Lindu National Park, by transportation to reach Bada Valley its may take about 4 hour drive, the Bada valley is known for its mysterious megaliths and take time to trekking around the villages. Upon arrive at Bada Valley Check In at homestay at Bomba Village then Lunch with simple style. After lunch tour to visit the megaliths. Afternoon back to hotel stay, overnight, dinner will be at home stay with simple style.

Simple breakfast at local house, check out then continue trekking to see another megaliths statues. Afterwards transfer to Tentena. Lunch will be served en-route with simple style. On the way we will go to the traditional market. Upon arrive at Tentena, check in hotel, dinner at local restaurant.

Simple breakfast at hotel, check out then transfer to Parigi at Tandaigi Village. Along the way you will enjoy rain forest and Coconut plantations approximately 6 – 7 hours drive passing through Poso town. Lunch will be served en-route. Upon arrive at Tandaigi Village, check in to the hotel/resort, free program, you may enjoy the beach while take a rest. Dinner at resort.

Simple breakfast at hotel/resort, check out then leaving to Moutong, small city North of Palu. Passing coast of Sulawesi with its Sandy Beach and coconut tree long the way. Lunch will be served en-route. Afternoon arrive in Moutong, check in hotel, dinner at the local restaurant.

Simple breakfast at hotel, check out then leaving for Gorontalo, this trip will take about 6 – 7 hour drive passing the equatorial lines at Siney. Lunch will be served en-route. Afternoon arrive in Gorontalo, the city in Sulawesi where colonial Houses still in fact, check in hotel, Dinner at the local restaurant.

Buffet breakfast at hotel, check out then continue trip to Kotamobagu. On the way you will visit Fort Otanaha, located at the Hill of faces to the Lake Limboto. In the past, the Kings of Gorontalo used Otanaha castle as a place of protection and defense. The unique of the castle applies in the material that was used to build the castle, which was the mixed of sand, plaster and the white part of Maleo egg. The panorama of Lake Limboto also can be seen clearly from the castle of Otanaha, because the castle itself stands in the top of the highland. Afterwards continue the trip to Kotamobagu. Lunch will be served en-route. Along the trip you will enjoy also some natural views, mountain and with few stops en-route for some interesting stuff. After breakfast at hotel with simple style, check out then leaving to Tomohon, in the highland of Manado. Tomohon is known for flower planting at people’s homes. Nearby is the mountain Mount Lokon. Tomohon is also known for wooden house production, palm sugar (aren) production, vegetable agriculture, and as a center of Christian Ministry and as a student town. on the way you will have a time for visit Lake Moaat and Lake Linow, the Lake Linow is a beautiful but rather strange lake. It can change colors! The waters of the lake sometimes look blue, sometimes green, and sometimes red. Located of the Lake Linow lies in Tomohon city, Minahasa Regency. The lakeside is a lovely place to relax. Lake Linau is a unique lake for its high level of sulphur content that cause it tends to turn its color based on the viewing perspective and the lighting angle of the sun. There are numerous endemic faunas like Blibis birds and insects called “Sayok” or “Komo.” Those winged insects living in the water are consumed by the inhabitants around the lake. Besides the panoramic view of surrounding area, Lake Linau has special characteristics as the tendency to turn its color because of the high level of sulphur content. That is the beauty of the lake that will amaze you by watching it from different viewing perspectives. Lunch will be served en-route at local restaurant. Buffet breakfast at hotel, check out then tour to Woloan; traditional minahasan house craftsmen, it traditional wooden houses are built in the small village of Woloan. This wooden house is special because it is knockdown house too, meaning that the house will be built in the production area and after it is finished, it will be knocked down and send to the client’s place and rebuilt the house there, either permanently or not. This type of house is good because it works well for earthquake Japanese Cave, Built during World War II by the Japanese, these caves are located between the two charming countryside villages of Kawangkoan and Kiawa. Tangkoko National Park comprised of rolling hills and valleys with a variety of hardwood trees and unusual plant life. The lush green hills and valleys that make up the landscape of the nature reserve offer some exceptionally beautiful views. This ancient rainforest is packed with striking fauna and flora. Some of the more common fauna found here include anoa, black apes, cus-cus, hornbill, Tarsius Spectrum (world’s smallest primate/the smallest monkey in the world), black tailess monkeys, Maleo Birds, Wild pigs and kuskus (marsupial family), after that back to the lodge/homestay, Dinner at the local restaurant or at lodge/homestay.

Like the Manado coastline, Bunaken Island is characterized by clear waters, beaches and stunning drop-offs. The world famous Bunaken Marine National Park has very deep water bodies. The depth is 1,566 m in Manado Bay and the clear waters afford a visibility of 35 to 40 meters. The temperature here is a mild 27 ° C to 29 ° C.
