Trans South and Central Sulawesi Tour 13 days/12 nights

Upon arrival in Makassar airport, we take an eight-hour drive up to Tana Toraja passing through Bugis villages with a few stops on the way including visiting the Rammang Rammang area where mountainous KARST, and on the way, there can take the Motorize Canoe to go and back to Rammang – Rammang with beautiful panorama and Mangrove plant after that can visit the interior of the Bugis houses which built on stilt. Stop by Pare-pare for lunch beside enjoy the Panorama to Pare pare city, at a beautiful seafood restaurant located up on a hill with a sea view. Afternoon, refreshment stop at Bambapuang to see the erotic mountain of Buntu Kabobong and enjoy some local cakes with traditional coffee or tea. Late in the afternoon arriving in Toraja land, directly check-in at the hotel.

The morning after breakfast, explore Toraja: the Land Full of Surprises. First to Lemo, a cliffside burial site with effigies up on balconies. Then to Sangalla’ to see baby graves in a big tree. Visit Suaya, the royal burial site of Puang Sangalla, where you can see all kinds of graves existing in Tana Toraja from the past to the present. After lunch en route, visit the Kete Kesu’ traditional village with rows of traditional Tongkonan houses and granaries, and hanging graves. Back to the hotel in the afternoon. Dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, go to Bori, where Megalithic Stones are Standing. This is a Special Place for the Noble Class Family to Hold Funeral Ceremony, or We Called Rambu Solo: The Smoke Going Down, This Is The Words For Sadness. After the ceremony, go to Pallawa village, where there are many old traditional Toraja homes with granaries for storing rice, then to Sa'dan village, where there is a weaving mill where Toraja textiles are made using traditional techniques and cotton. Then, keep going up to Tinimbayo on the way to Batutumonga, where there are 1,000 terraces of ricefields, and finally go to Lempo. After that, take a one-hour walk to Batutumonga, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Rantepao city and stop for lunch. Then, continue walking or taking a car to Loko'mata, where there is a large stone grave and surrounding stone. This is where the family of the deceased holds the Ma'nene Ceremony every three years. Finally, return to your hotel in Rantepao in the late afternoon.

After breakfast, we leave the hotel at 5 a.m Toraja to Tentena, it will take 12 hours some stop on the way for Spectacular panorama in Puncak with valley, big forest where many butterfly. After, Palopo city continue to Masamba region and Bone - Bone until Mangkutana, this region is transmigration area where many people from Java, Bali and others are live here. Then, we can rest the gate between South Sulawesi and Center Sulawesi to see the beautiful panorama. Then, we can continue to Tentena. Finally, Arrive in Siuri cottage for overnight and dinner.

After breakfast at hotel. We can start our trip to the Saluopa Village to look the Bali village. Then, lunch while we can enjoy one of the beautiful waterfall in Sulawesi island. After that, around 05 p.m we go to look the little ghost animal is Tersier, we can only see in the evening. Finally, back to the hotel for dinner and overnight in the hotel because tomorrow we will go to Bada Valley.

Simple breakfast at hotel, leaving to Lore Lindu National Park, by transportation to reach Bada Valley its may take about 4 hour drive, the Bada valley is known for its mysterious megaliths and take time to trekking around the villages. Upon arrive at Bada Valley Check In at homestay at Bomba Village then Lunch with simple style. After lunch tour to visit the megaliths. Afternoon back to hotel stay, overnight, dinner will be at home stay with simple style.

Simple breakfast at local house, check out then continue trekking to see another megaliths statues. Afterwards transfer to Tentena. Lunch will be served en-route with simple style. On the way we will go to the traditional market. Upon arrive at Tentena, check in hotel, dinner at local restaurant.

After breakfast at the hotel, direct transfer to Ampana with approximately 08 hours drive passing through Poso town. Lunch enroute, and proceed to Ampana for your accommodation and dinner.

After breakfast, drive to the pear and then take a boat to go to Wakai Island, which will serve as a transit island before reaching Kadidiri Island. Lunch boxes are provided for this trip. Once you arrive in Kadidiri Island, check into your hotel or bungalow for the night and dinner.

You can decide whether it is ideal for you to take a plane to Bali or another island for your next trip before returning to Makassar. The hotel personnel will take you to Wakai island after lunch in Togian, where you will then board a ferry to return to Ampana. After arriving in the afternoon, one is immediately transferred to Luwuk or Poso, where one then checks into a hotel. Stay there the night.

Following breakfast at the hotel Transfer to the airport in Poso or Luwuk to catch a flight to your next location.
